Customizable Backgrounds and Templates

The following are <diff/>tag backgrounds and templates available for <diff/>tag backgrounds or customization.

• A <diff/>tag is any artwork created on this site.
• A background is an image uploaded to Create->Upload Image (from the drop-down menu above), which can be used as a background image for any <diff/>tag. If you wish your background to be available for other users, just click the checkbox labeled 'Make this image available for free use on <diff/>tags. When this box is checked, any user who has access to view this image (based on your "Show this Image to" access settings) will be able to use it on their own <diff/>tags.'
• A template is any <diff/>tag artwork that is submitted to the "Scrapbooking" group that is available for customization. A <diff/>tag scrapbook (available here) is a completed scrapbook submitted to the "Scrapbooking" group, but not available for customization.

Backgrounds and Templates appear different in the list. Background images have a link to add the background as a favorite, for easier inclusion on your <diff/>tags, while Templates have various printing options.

How to use templates:
To customize a template for your own use, just click on "Open for customization." This will open the <diff/>tag as your own. You will need to choose File->Save from your drawing toolbar that will appear at the bottom of the page when customizing your <diff/>tag in order to keep your changes.

To print any <diff/>tag, just choose either "Crop" or "Scale" first. Crop is the default. Then, when you click on any size besides the original size, from the "Available sizes" list available for each background, the <diff/>tag Template will open as a PDF (you will need Acrobat Reader if you don't already have it). If you chose "Crop," the <diff/>tag will keep it's original size, and simply cut off the edge to display the size you have chosen. If you choose "Scale," the <diff/>tag will be scaled down to fit the dimensions you have chosen. Put your mouse over a size to see additional size conversion information.
